About cold coffee
Cold coffee is an instant beverage that not only soothes the soul but also keeps you energetic for a long time. It is also a popular drink found in cafes and restaurants across the world, with different ingredients such as ice cream, coffee syrup, and whipped cream.
My recipe uses coffee, milk, sugar, and ice cubes or a blender to create this creamy or foamy drink. All ingredients are put in a blender and blended, and the cold coffee is ready. You can also make it in a shaker bottle, but a blender is the best way to create a frothy coffee.
I only made this homemade cold coffee with ingredients that are easily found in every kitchen. First, you need some coffee to make a mixture with warm water. Now add this mixture to the blender with sugar, ice cubes, and milk, and blend them until frothy or foamy.
Then serve with a garnish of chocolate syrup or an ice cream scoop. I don’t add ice cream to my coffee. I simply design my glasses with chocolate syrup, chill them for five minutes, then pour blended coffee into them. That’s how simple to make this cold coffee at home.

Ingredients
- Coffee- I used 2 tbsp of instant coffee in my recipe. You can use cold brew or filter coffee too if you prefer.
- Milk- I have used homemade milk for a lighter version, but if you want a rich or thick texture, use full-fat milk.
- Sugar- I add 2 tbsp of sugar; you can adjust more or less to your taste.
- Ice Cubes- I add 4 to 5 ice cubes to my coffee to create a thick or frothy consistency while blending.
- Chocolate Syrup- Use to design the serving glass, or you can blend a little into the coffee for a chocolate flavour.
How to make cold coffee recipe
1. If you want to design your serving glass, drizzle some chocolate syrup inside it and keep it in the refrigerator for 5 minutes to chill.
2. Until they become chilled, take 2 tbsp of instant coffee in a mixing bowl.

3. Add 2 to 3 tbsp of warm water to it and mix well. Use warm water to make a mixture, as it helps to dissolve the coffee instantly. Avoid using hot water here.

4. Now add the coffee mixture to a blender jar.

5. Add 2 tbsp of white sugar to it; you can add more if you’re a sweet tooth.

6. Blend them well to dissolve the sugar; you will see the color of the coffee mixture is a little lighter here.

7. Add 4-5 ice cubes, which is good to create a thick consistency.

8. Now pour 2 cups of chilled milk into it and blend until smooth and creamy.

9. When a foamy layer comes, it means the creamy cold coffee is ready.

Serve this instant cold coffee in the chilled designed glasses and garnish with some chocolate syrup. You can also garnish with some whipped cream and a light dusting of cocoa powder. To keep it chilled for longer, add a few ice cubes to the glass.

Pro Tips
- Always use chilled milk instead of room-temperature milk.
- Blend the coffee until it becomes smooth and frothy.
- Avoid adding too much ice, as it can dilute the flavour.
- If you prefer a stronger coffee flavour, increase the instant coffee by 1/2 to 1 teaspoon.
- For a creamy texture, add some whipped cream and some ice cream while blending.
