- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- ⅓ cup ghee (clarified butter)
- ½ cup jaggery/ powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp grated dry coconut
- 1 tbsp chopped almonds
- 1 tbsp chironji
Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat.
When it gets heated, add the wheat flour and roast until golden.
It takes 7 to 8 minutes to turn golden and smell aromatic.
Now turn off the flame and add dry coconut, almonds, or chironji.
Mix well and rest until it cools slightly.
Then add jaggery and mix well with the flour.
Now take some of the mixture and shape ladoos one by one.
- Roast the wheat flour patiently till light golden.
- Keep stirring the flour to prevent sticking.
- Let the roasted flour cool slightly before adding sugar.
