Onion Pakoda

Onion pakoda is a popular snack prepared with loads of onion, gram flour, spices, and herbs. It's a healthy and gluten-free appetizer that is made with just a little effort.

Ingredients
  

  • 4-5 medium sized onion, finely chopped
  • 2 green chili, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp chopped corinader leaves
  • ½ cup gram flour
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • ¼ tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp water
  • oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Take the onions peel and chop them in thinly slices.
  • Add coriander leaves, green chili, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, salt, and gram flour.
  • Add some water and mix well.
  • Heat oil in a kadai.
  • Add the batter in a particular shape one by one.
  • Fry them from both sides till they are golden and brown.
  • When they are brown remove them with spatula.
  • Place them on kitchen paper towel so it absorbs the extra oil.
  • Serve them hot.
