Mooli Paratha | Radish Paratha

Mooli paratha is a stuffed flatbread of grated radish, spices, and herbs. It serves for breakfast and lunch with chutney, yoghurt, and tea.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • water for kneading
  • 1-2 white radish
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • ΒΌ tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Take flour in a bowl and mix with ghee.
  • Add water and knead it into soft and smooth dough.
  • Leave it for 10 minutes.
  • Take radish and grate it with a grater.
  • Squeeze excess water from it.
  • Add chopped coriander leaves and green chili.
  • Add spices: coriander powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Mix all the ingredients well.
  • Make 2 dough balls of equal size.
  • Rollthem in a small round roti.
  • Add 1 tsp of filling on it and grease ghee all over its edges.
  • Cover them with another same rolled roti.
  • Now roll it into 7 to 8 inch roti carefully.
  • Heat the tawa on medium heat.
  • Place rolled paratha on it.
  • Flip it and pour ghee on it and over its edges.
  • Then repeat the same on another side. Roast it till brown bubble appears.
  • When brown bubbles come it's ready to serve.
