Boondi Raita Recipe
This boondi raita is a common and popular Indian raita made with yogurt, boondi, spices, and herbs. It tastes creamy and spicy with a savory flavor.

- 1 cup curd
- ½ cup boondi
- ½ tsp roasted cumin powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper powder (optional)
- ½ tsp chaat masala powder
- ¼ tsp red chili powder
- black salt or regular salt as required
First take 1 cup of water in a pan on a gas stove, electric kattle, or which you have and do it warm. Pour the warm water in a bowl.
After that take boondi and add to the warm water.
Now allow them to soak for about 8-10 minutes. Keep them aside.
Now take 1 cup of yogurt in a bowl.
After that whip the yogurt with the churner or wired whisk which you have. Whip it until it smooths in texture.
Then after 10 minutes drain all the water from the boondi.
Now squeeze and drain excess water from boondi by pressing your hands. Don't press hard or else the boondi becomes mushy.
Then mix well with the spoon.
After that add spices: 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1/4 red chili powder, 1/2 chaat masala powder, 1/4 black pepper powder (optional), and Salt (black or regular salt ) as required
After that mix all of these ingredients well with the spoon. Garnish some coriander or mint leaves which you like. Skip if you don't like them.
