In Hindi, the lemon water is known as “Nimbu Pani”. Lemon water is the evergreen drink in the hot summers. This recipe is very easy to prepare. Just add fresh or cold water added sugar, or salt, then mix everything well. The lemon water is ready.
In the summer, we all seek liquids to help combat dehydration. Whether it’s juices, shakes, smoothies, or lemon water, it’s also one of them. This lemon water is a good source of vitamin C and hydration.
In our home, this lemon water is prepared daily. My sister and I are big fans of it. This is our favorite drink for two reasons. The one is its very simple to make and the second one its a refreshing drink.

Ingredients
Water- I used filtered and normal temperature water. Cold water can also be good for making this recipe.
Lemon- Fresh and juicy lemons are required to make this recipe. I used yellow lemons, but green limes are also good to use.
Sugar- I used refined sugar for this recipe. But you can also use powdered sugar. If you want 0-calorie lemon water, then you can skip the sugar.
Salt- I used black salt in this lemon water. But rock salt can also be good. I prefer black salt for more better taste.
Chaat Masala- I always add chaat masala to my lemon water for better taste. If you add this to lemon water, you will also like the taste. But it is not necessary you can skip this.

How to Make Lemon Water
1.First, pour 2 cups of fresh and filtered water in a pot or a mug.

2. Then add 2 tbsp lemon juice and 4 tbsp sugar to it.

3. After that, stir the ingredients well with the spoon until the sugar completely dissolves in the water.

4. Then add 1 tsp salt or 1/4 tsp chaat masala.

5. After that, mix everything well. Do a taste test and adjust the sugar, lemon juice, and salt according to your taste.

6. Now, pour the prepared lemon water into the large glass. Add 1 or 2 ice cubes. Then garnish with a lemon slice over the edge of the glass or under the lemon water.

Tips
- Adjust the amount of sugar, salt, and lemon juice to your taste.
- Instead of using refined sugar the powdered sugar can also be used.
- If you want to make your lemon water without calories. Then, skip to add the sugar.
- You can store lemon water in air air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. But I recommend using it when you made it.
