Carrot Paratha
Carrot paratha is a simple flatbread of wheat flour, grated red carrots, coriander leaves, grated ginger, and green chili. It is a simple and quick breakfast with a taste of mild sweet, spicy, and a little soft & crunchy texture. These carrot parathas are best served with yogurt, butter, pickles, and chutney.

About Carrot Paratha:-
Carrot paratha is a delicious breakfast prepared with grated carrots, coriander leaves, green chili, spices, wheat flour, and roasted with ghee or oil on a skillet. The carrot paratha is soft from the inside and little crunchy from outside.
I always wait for winter because of these fresh seasonal red carrots and this veggie is one of my favorite ones. All the substitutes for red carrots whether it’s carrot sabji, carrot kheer, carrot halwa, or carrot paratha are top of the menu in winter. I never get tired from eating red carrots in my food.
These gajar parathas are very common in winter and are made in every home and everyone makes it in their own style. But I make this paratha in my experimental way and everyone loves it very much in my home and I’m sure you also love it when you try this recipe.
Carrot paratha is a healthy and simple breakfast at a time. It is best to pack for school and office lunch boxes or a trip. Serving these gajar parathas with any pickle, sauce, or chutney made it a more delightful recipe to taste.
Today, I’m sharing delicious carrot paratha with you. It’s a very quick and easy recipe to make with some little preparations and share with your loved ones!

How to make carrot paratha:-
Preparations:-
1.First, take 2 medium-sized fresh carrots rinse them in clean water, and peel them.

2. Then grate the peeled carrots with the help of a grater.

3. Then, finely chop the coriander leaves, green chili, and ginger. You will need 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves,1 tsp chopped ginger, and 2 to 3 chopped green chili. If you make it for children, reduce the quantity of green chili.

4. Then take a bowl or large plate and add 1 cup of wheat flour to it.

5. Add salt to taste and mix well.

6. After that add grated carrots in wheat flour.

7. Mix them very well.

8. Then add chopped coriander leaves, green chili, and grated ginger.

9. Mix all of these ingredients well with your fingertips.

10. Then add water as required little by little to knead the dough until it becomes smooth. Do not add whole water at a time.

11. When the dough is knead completely then cover it with a cotton cloth and rest for 20 minutes. Resting the dough makes it more soft and smooth.

Rolling carrot paratha:-
12. When the dough rest time completes make a medium size small balls from the dough.

13. Then dust some wheat flour on the ball.

14. Rolling it with the roller and dust some flour while rolling.

15. Then roll into a round shape or make a medium-sized roti.

Roasting carrot paratha:-
16. After that take a skillet heat it on medium heat and place the round roti on it.

17. When the paratha is cooked from one side then flip it with a spoon or spatula and spread some ghee or oil in it.

18. Flip it from the other side and pour ghee all around it and over its edges.

19. Then flip it from side by side and roast it until it has a little brown texture outside.

20. When the brown crunchy texture has come on the paratha then remove it to the plate.

Serving Suggestions:-
Serve carrot paratha hot with any pickle, green chutney, butter, and yogurt.
Serve it with a cup of tea which also tastes best.
Or you can serve it alone which is also good to taste.
