Carrot Paratha Recipe - A Healthy Winter Breakfast

Carrot paratha is a soft and delicious flatbread made with fresh red carrots, spices, and herbs. It's warm, nutritious, and perfect for breakfast and lunch box in winters.

3-4 medium sized carrots 1 tbsp coriander leaves 2 green chili, chopped 1/2 inch grated ginger 1 tsp salt 1 cup wheat flour water for kneading ghee for roasting

INGREDIENTS

Wash, peel, and grate the fresh carrots in a bowl. Squeeze out excess water if needed. 

STEP 1

In a bowl, mix wheatflour, grated carrots, salt, spices, and coriander leaves. Knead it into soft and smooth dough. Rest it for 10-15 minutes.

STEP 2

Take oil in a bowl. If using ghee then warm it. After that roll the paratha in medium -thick parathas.

STEP 3

Cook the paratha on hot tawa till bubbles appears. Apply ghee on both sides by flipping it and cook until golden.

STEP 4

Serve hot carrot parathas with butter, pickle, curd, chutney, and a cup of masala tea.
