Makki di roti is a traditional winter cornmeal flatbread from Punjab that pair well with sarso saag.

Warm water
Salt
Ingredients
Take corn flour in a platter. Add salt, warm water and knead it into soft and smooth dough.
Step 1
Take some kneaded dough and press it gently in round roti with palms, not rolling pin.
Step 2
Cook on hot tawa till golden spots appear. When it is cooked then apply desi ghee or butter.
Step 3
Serve makki di roti hot with sarso saag alongside butter.
