How To Make  Restaurant Style Rajma Recipe - At Home

Rajma or Kidney beans curry is the popular North Indian staple that found from home to every restaurant. It prepares with boiled kidney beans,and various spices.  

1 cup kidney beans 1 tbsp mustard oil 2 bay leaves 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tsp coriander powder 1/4 tsp garam masala 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1/4 tsp red chili powder 1 tsp salt 1/2 inch ginger 2 onion chopped 5-6 ginger cloves 2 medium tomato puree

INGREDIENTS

Soak the kidney beans whole night then pressure cook until they are soft tender. When they are boiled store the boiled water.

STEP 1

Heat oil or ghee in a pan with some cumin seeds and bay leaves Let them sizzle for few seconds.

STEP 2

Now add all the chopped or grated onion and saute  until they are golden or raw smell are gone.

STEP 3

Take the tomato, ginger, and green chili in a grinder and make a paste together. After that add in sauted onion and saute them too.

STEP 4

Add the boiled rajma and leftover rajma water with all spices and cook them until a thick curry texture. 

STEP 5

When the rajma reached a curry texture add the garam masala on it and serve it hot with plain rice.

STEP 6
